73Patricia Anne "Grams" Hess, 80, of Pahoa, Hawaii, a retired Hilo Radiologic Associates transcriber and part-time teacher at Pahoa High School, died in Hilo Medical Center. She was born in Scranton, Pa. She is survived by daughters Deborra Kaawaloa and Donna Walker; sons David Jr. and Dean Sr.; hanai daughters Emily Naeole, Irene Suzuki, Marlene Sanoria, Lisa Napua Thomas and Georgette "Dottie" Kyser; hanai son Darrin "DC" Carlson; sister Jacqueline Liney; hanai brother James "Spike" Wright; 17 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 19 hanai grandchildren; and 41 hanai great-grandchildren. Visitation: 6 p.m. Friday at Dodo Mortuary, Hilo. Services: 7 p.m. Cremation to follow. Casual or green and silver attire. Flowers welcome.
