Margaret Ann Leilani Dunn Farris
MARGARET ANN LEILANI DUNN FARRIS Sculptor, artist, author, and photographer died December 6, 2015 in Cook Springs, AL. She was born on December 18, 1920 in Honolulu, Hawaii, graduated Kamehameha Schools in 1938 and met her wonderful husband, John R. Farris on Oahu during World War II. They were married in 1947 in Mobile, AL and later moved to Montgomery. Mr. Farris, architect, died in 1985 and Margaret continued to reside in Montgomery until 2008. She is survived by her son, John R Farris, Jr (Sally), two grandchildren; Jennifer Ka'ai'ohelo Farris Skaggs (Trey) and Stephanie Kaile Farris Welch (Johnny), and two great-grand- children, Charlie and Lily Skaggs.
