Robert Emil Dietrich, 87, of Kailua-Kona, an equipment manager at Fort Hunter Liggett in California and an Army veteran, died at home. He was born in Cleveland. He is survived by stepsons Michael Godden and Gilbert Vogt; stepdaughters Sharon Valine, Virginia Madison and Janet Cariss; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. No services. Donations suggested to Hospice of Kona.
