James Napua Wells, 70, of Ocean View, Hawaii, a heavy equipment operator for PCR Construction, owner of Napua's Auto Upholstery and an Army veteran, died in Kona Community Hospital. He was born on Oahu. He is survived by wife Y. Mikie Hanato-Wells; sons Schayle-Kigen, Renkio and Kitao Hanato-Wells; daughter Kyra Wells; sister Lydia Escuadro; and five grandchildren. Inurnment: noon Dec. 28 at West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery, Kailua-Kona. Casual attire.
