73Masaru Hirano, 91, of Waipahu, a retired shop planner and electrician at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, died in Kapolei. He was born in Ewa. He is survived by wife Reiko, daughters June Hirano and Kay Ro, brother Melvin "Toshi," sister Ethel "Sachi" Kato and three grandchildren. Private services.
