Caroline K. Kaui "Carol" Chan, 81, of Waipahu, a retired U.S. Postal Service clerk and a Marine Corps veteran, died in Waipahu. She was born in Kalapana, Hawaii. She is survived by husband Richard Sr.; son Ralph Kaui; daughters Leona Leialoha and Renee Rillon; stepsons Richard Jr., Douglas and Edwin; stepdaughters Lani, Barbara and Allison; sister Leiffie Ha'o; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Visitation: 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Mililani Downtown Mortuary. Services: 9:30 a.m. Celebration of life: noon Jan. 9 at Puhi Bay, Keaukaha, Hawaii.
