74Douglas Noboru Sakoda, 78, of Pahoa, Hawaii, a retired senior duplicating machine operator for the County of Hawaii and an Army veteran, died in Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home. He was born in Pahoa. He is survived by wife Mae C.; sons Daren, Daryl and Darek; stepmother Kiku; sisters Janet Ikeda, Doris Bender, Elsie Sakoda and Ethel Deguchi; and three grandchildren. Visitation: 4 p.m. Monday at Dodo Mortuary, Hilo. Services: 5 p.m. Casual attire.
