JUANITA “JANE” MATIAS TIMBREZA
JUANITA JANE MATIAS TIMBREZA Age 91, long-time resident of Haleiwa, passed away Wednesday November 25th at Pali Momi. Born November 13, 1924, in Hana, Maui, Juanita worked 35 years as a Claims Examiner in Civil Service. Juanita loved bowling on two leagues per week and was a member of Schofield Senior Bowlers and Wahiawa Rainbow Senior Association. She was an active member of the St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church near Waimea Bay and the St. Michael Church Filipino Club in Waialua. Some of Juanita's other passions were having get togethers, cooking Filipino food for her family, dancing, socializing, traveling and going to Las Vegas. She was always smiling, joking and quick to laugh about the woes of growing older. She is survived by son Rodney J Timbreza of California; daughters, Trina T Hulten (Lorenzo Vigil) of California, Annette L Timbreza (Mark Diedrich); sisters Helen Morales, Fely Hill (Duane) of Arizona; grandchildren, Anikai Medlar, Leilani Webb, Jamie Lynn Wickham, Jason Timbreza, Jeremy Timbreza, Joshua Schiaretti, Jessica Gellert, Mariah Mellor; great grandchildren; Fife: Cameron and Trevor, Medlar: Meilani, Lanea, Kaimilani, Melia, Timbreza: Makayla, Timbreza: Ryan and Riley, Webb: Jaya, Schiaretti: Iolana, Gellert: Azalea and Zoey. Celebration of Juanita's life will be 12/30 at the Mililani Mortuary Makai Chapel. Visitation is at 9:30am. Services are at 10:30am. Burial will be at the Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery in Kaneohe at 2pm. Casual attire, flowers welcome.
