Caroline K. Kaui "Carol" Chan, 81, of Waipahu, a retired Postal Service clerk and a Marine Corps veteran, died in Waipahu. She was born in Kalapana, Hawaii. She is survived by husband Richard Sr.; sons Richard Jr., Douglas and Edwin; daughters Lani, Barbara, Joanne and Allison; sister Leiffie Ha'o; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
