Daniel Masaji Sasaoka, 94, of Kailua, a retired refrigerator/AC mechanic supervisor at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Ilikai Hotel, and an Army veteran who served with the 442nd Regimental Combat Team, died. He was born North Kona, Hawaii. He is survived by sons Gerald, Ken and Karl; daughter Jean Keaweehu; brothers Robert, Seiji and Tyron; sister Shirley Morimoto; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Private services.
