Rose Hulihee Fukumitsu, also known as "Loke" and "Darling," 79, of Lanihau, Hawaii, a cashier at Matsuyama Food Mart, secretary at Hilo Soda Works, salesclerk at the former Kona Inn Gift Lanai and a Marine Corps veteran, died at home. She was born in North Kona. She is survived by husband Kazuo; sons Alden, Winstanley, Elmer and Travis; daughters Christine Pajimola, and Shaunte and Shalei Fukumitsu; sister Josephine Alapai; 12 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 1 p.m. Jan. 8 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Alii Drive, Kailua-Kona. Mass: 3 p.m. Services and burial: 9 a.m. Jan. 9 at West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery. Luncheon to follow at Hawaii Big Game Fishing Club, Honokohau Boat Harbor, Kailua-Kona. Casual attire. No flowers.
