HERBERT I. OHTA Age 93, of Pearl City, HI passed away August 25, 2016 in Pearl City. Born May 23, 1923 in Honolulu, HI. He was retired from Hawaiian Western Steel Limited, and was an Army interpreter in Japan after World War II. He was survived by wife, Mary Anne Ohta; sons, Scott (Michelle) Ohta, Craig (Cynthia) Ohta, Cory (Linda) Ohta; sisters, Lillian (Henry) Tominaga, Dorothy Ohta, Janet Ohta Fukuhara; 2 grandchildren. Private services were held.
