H. George Koenig 70, of Hilo, died on October 2, 2016. He was born in Hackensack, NJ. He retired from NASA Infrared Telescope on Mauna Kea. He is survived by spouse Tupou Koenig; son Loni Koenig; brother Ronald Koenig.
