FRANCES YOSHINAGA PONS September 20, 1952 - September 21, 2016 "Life is Short...Eat Dessert First" Our Heavenly Father welcomed Frances Yoshinaga Pons with open arms on September 21, 2016. Frances was a pastry chef extraordinaire trained in the classical French method, and the former proprietor of Ilima-award winning Sugar Rush by Frances LLC. Frances lived life to the fullest and realized her dream of becoming a pastry artist. Frances was an extremely religious and spiritual person and deeply involved with her local church functions. She volunteered and donated very generously to many organizations and dedicated one day of the week to serve and aid the homeless. Sometimes, if we are lucky, we have that one special angel in our lives. Frances was that angel for her family, friends and community. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity and fierce loyalty. She was truly the best sister, aunt and friend. As evidenced by her extreme loving, generous and adoring nature she had an abundance of friends everywhere and will be greatly missed by many nephews and nieces in California. Frances is survived by her brother LeRoy (Norma), sister Patti, nephew Roy (November), niece Vicky (Matthew) and grand-nephew Madison. Private service held.
