Douglas Takeshi Hamamura 84, of Honolulu, HI, died on August 21, 2016 in Honolulu. Born in Honolulu. He was a U.S. Army veteran and retired as the Pearl Harbor accounting department head. He is survived by sons Ross Hamamura and Neal Hamamura; sister Frances Kozuki; half sister Janis Yamamoto and one granddaughter. Visitation: 5:30 p.m. Saturday (Oct. 15) at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel; Memorial service: 6:00 p.m. Committal service: 2:00 p.m. Monday (Oct. 17) at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific Punchbowl.
