Bruce Takanori Tanaka 94, of Hilo, died at the Hilo Medical Center on Thursday, September 15, 2016. He was born in Papaikou, Hawaii and retired as a groundskeeper with the former Puna Sugar Co.. He is survived by wife Toyoko; daughters Nori Ishii and Lisa Kamibayashi; brothers Walter and George; sisiters Lorraine Inouye and Grace Moriyama; two grandchildren. Private services were held.
