EDWARD WILLIAM HOOPII 90, of Honolulu, died at home on October 1, 2016. He was born June 9, 1926 at Kalaupapa. He retired from Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard as a crane operator with 39 years of service. He is survived by son Edward Jr., daughters Rita and Gayle, brother Robert Hoopii, 8 grand- children, and 3 great-grand- children. Service to be held on: Friday, October 21, 2016, visitation 9 - 10 am., mass to follow at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 5919 Kalanianaole Hwy. Leis only, no flower arrangements. Private burial services will be held later.
