FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

Thomas S. “Tommy” Miyashiro
Thomas S. Command Sgt. Major THOMAS S. "TOMMY" MIYASHIRO 100th Battalion, 442nd Infantry passed away Wednesday October 5, 2016 at the age of 92. He enlisted in the Army in 1942 and served over four decades in the Four-Four-Two. He also retired as an Ordnance Supervisor at the Ammunition Depot Lualualei. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by his wife Fumie Ando; Daughters Patricia Miyashiro Lum (Tennyson); Shirley A. Nishikawa (Larry); Bobbie L. Ogata (Mark); Step Daughter Karen M. Nagamine; Brothers Richard S; George S. (Florence); James Y. (Nona); Robert M. (Linda); Sisters Helen Y. Yonamine; Grace G. Evans; Dorothy Y. Pang (Herbert); Betty H. Higa (William) and 16 Grand Children and 32 Great Grandchildren. Visitation 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25 at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Memorial service 6:30 p.m. Burial 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26 at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacifi c at Punchbowl.
