RUTH HELENE PADEKEN Age 82, of Kailua, HI, passed away Oct. 13, 2016 in Honolulu. She was born Oct. 12, 1934 in Berlin, Germany. She retired from Safeway Floral Department as a floral designer. She is survived by sons, Curtis H. (Gay) Gonsales, Brian A. Gonsales; daughters, Angela R. Rivera, Sabrina I. (Matelau) Gonsales-Sekona, Heidi L. (Mark) Philbrick, Lisa P. (Jeff) Schultz; sister, Irene Ortman; brother, Olaf Papendieck; 18 grandchildren and 9 great- grandchildren. Visitation 5:30 p.m., Saturday (Oct. 29) at Mililani Downtown Mortuary (20 S. Kukui St., Honolulu). Funeral service 6:30 p.m. Casual/Aloha attire. No flowers please.
