Takashi Nonaka 91, of Papaikou, Hawaii, died on October 12, 2016 at his home. He was born in Kaiakea, Ninole, Hawaii. He was a retired manager for Brewer Chemical Laboratory. Visitation from 2:30-4 p.m. Saturday, November 5, 2016, at Dodo Mortuary chapel in Hilo; memorial service at 4 p.m. No koden (monetary gifts); no flowers. He is survived by wife Toyomi Nonaka; son Eric Nonaka; daughter Anne Nonaka; brothers Minoru Nonaka, Fred Nonaka; sisters Yuriko Minakami, Midori Taise, Lorraine Wagai & 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grand children.
