KAZUTOSHI NAJITA 91, of Honolulu, passed away on October 14, 2016, in Honolulu. Born in Honokaa, Hawaii, he was Professor Emeritus and former Chair of the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. He is survived by his wife, Joyce; daughters, Joan (Arjun Dey) Najita, Susan (Toby Eckhause) Najita, and Julie (Jim Gibney) Najita; son, Don (Karla Meek) Najita; grandchildren, Sharmila Dey, Henry Eckhause, and Lily and Jack Najita; sister, Tsuneko Doi and brother, Tetsuo (Elinor) Najita.
