EMILY HAYES ROBINSON OCTOBER 10, 1935-SEPTEMBER 21, 2016 Emmy was born in Honolulu to Gordon and Hilda Hayes of Nuuanu Valley. She attended Punahou School (class of 1953), Castilleja School in Palo Alto and Stanford University. She married Robert Robinson while at Stanford and had two daughters: Anna Robinson Duncan of Orinda California and Deborah Robinson Baker of Wallace California. There are four grandchildren. After Bob's Army service, the family lived in Palos Verdes Estates, Birmingham Michigan, Orinda and Bermuda Dunes California for the last 28 years. Emmy was a wonderful mother and soul mate, a skilled entertainer, an enthusiastic traveler, an accomplished golfer and a skilled mah jongg player. She improved the world she lived in. She suffered a major stroke and mercifully passed quickly. There will be a grave side service at Oahu Cemetery at 11:00 on Saturday, November 5.
