HERMAN TSUTOMU NII Herman Tsutomu Nii of Aiea passed away peacefully on October 4, 2016 at the age of 82, surrounded by his family. Retired First Sergeant of the United States Army and retired Maintenance Superintendent at Hawaii State Hospital. An Avid Fisherman. He enjoyed golfing ALL Day, Every Day. Retired Starter, then Marshal of the Barbers Point Golf Course, which he so LOVED! Survived by his wife, May; Son, Royce (Sylvia); Daughters, Bonnie (Bradley) Chang and Stacie (Makanoe) Nii; 7 Grandchildren, Richard, Stephan, Kevie, Karlee, Kody, Kelsey and Kyle; Sister, Jean (Dr. Wesley (deceased) Hayashi; Brothers, Andy (Enid) Nii, Elmer (Thelma) Nii, Jesse (Karen) Nii, Sterling (Bernie) Nii and Keith (Sally Rulison) Monroe. Celebration of Life: Visitation 5pm on Friday, November 4, 2016 at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Service will be held at 6:00pm.
