86, a Korean War and Vietnam War Army veteran and a retired U.S. Army Sergeant First Class and electrician for the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, passed away on July 17, 2017 at St. Francis Hospice Puiwa. He was born in Waialua. He is survived by his wife, Masako; son, Eric (Janet); daughter, Renee Martin; sister, Jean Hayashi; and by grandchildren, Bryson, Kristie, Stephanie, Ashley and Cydney; and great-grandchildren, Kaleb, Kai, Kolton and Ayako.
