It is with heavy hearts that we share, Mike Young, age 68 entered eternal rest on July 19, 2017 with his family by his side in Chino Hills, CA. Mike was born on January 23, 1949 in Chelsea, MA. He is preceded in death by parents Robert & Florence Young and sister Kathleen. He is survived by wife Sheila, and children Eric, David & Colleen, and brother Robert Young (Maui, HI) and 8 grandchildren. Mike graduated in 1967 from Radford High and was enlisted in the U.S. Navy from 1967-1971 aboard the USS Goldsborough DDG20 & USS Fletcher DD445. Mike resided in San Diego from 73-88 & Chino Hills from 88-2017. Mike retired in 2003 and enjoyed baseball & spending time with his family. His patriotism and passion of motorcycle riding led him to become involved with SoCal PGR, Harley Owners Group, American Legion & ABATE. Services will be held at Riverside National Cemetery on Friday, August 11 at 2:30pm.
