Our beautiful wife, sister, aunt, great-aunt and best friend started her new journey as she left this earth on July 24th. Ruby Kawamura was born on the island of Barbados. It was there she grew up, worked and made many life-long friends. Ruby moved to the mainland to be with her sister Joyce. First to Virginia then Connecticut and ultimately here to Hawaii where she met her soul-mate and best friend, Stanley Kawamura. They were blessed to be married for 43 years. Ruby is survived by her husband Stanley, sister Joyce, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, many nieces, nephews and so many friends. Ruby lived her life as a selfless, loving, caring and gentle soul. Ruby was an inspiration to all who knew her. Ruby will be greatly missed and never forgotten. We look forward to seeing her bright smile and hearing her laughter again. Ruby is with her Lord now.
