Carol Wai Kin Lam Wong, 92, passed away peacefully at her Honolulu home on July 31, 2017. She was born in Honolulu on December 25, 1924 to the late Bow and Choy Fong Lau Lam. She graduated with honors from McKinley High School in 1942 and worked in various office positions, the last as a real estate broker. Mrs. Wong enjoyed traveling to both domestic and international destinations. She was a magician and was for a time the secretary of the Hawaii chapter of the Society of American Magicians. She was preceded in death by her husband Rodney Kwei Fong Wong and by 4 of her siblings. She is survived by her brother, Clarence Lam (Ella), by 4 daughters, Rebecca Wong, Marian Wong, Margery Wong Neilson (Arthur Neilson III), and Anita Wong (David Spangler), and by 3 grandsons, Michael Bennetzen, Daniel Bennetzen, and Trent Spangler (Onaleisha).
