Nena Jove Lucas, 67, of Pearl City, passed away on July 21, 2017 in Honolulu. Nena, also known as "Ninay" was born on August 26, 1949 in Bacarra, llocos Norte, Philippines. She retired from the City & County of Honolulu, Department of Community Services, Rental Assistance Branch. She was a graduate of the Normal School then Northern Luzon Teachers College now Mariano Marcos State University in Laoag City, llocos Norte Philippines. She is survived by her husband, Job Lucas, stepson, Christopher (Celeste) Lucas, stepdaughter, Girlie Mae Lucas; 2 stepgrandchildren, Collin and Caylee Lucas; mother, Tiburcia Jove; brother, Alenby Jove; sisters, Estrella Jove, Susan Nagai, Celia Jove, Gladys Jove; sister in law, Dionicia Jove. Numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, aunt, in-laws and friends. Visitation: 5:30 p.m.; Wake Service at 6:30 p.m. on Monday August 21, 2017 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Visitation #2: 8:30 a.m.; Mass: 10:30 am. on Tuesday August 22 at St. Anthony Church, 640 Puuhale Rd. Honolulu, Hawaii. Burial: 12:00 noon at Valley of the Temples, Ocean View Terrace, in Kaneohe.
