Dr. Laurent Loo-King Laurel Hazel Tshin Thau Yap
Dec 23, 1950 - Sept. 21, 2016 Laurent was born in Hilo, Hawaii and was living in Omaha, Nebraska at the time of her death. After finishing high school in Hilo, she attended several universities on the mainland and graduated from the College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri. She was a well-respected attending physician and teacher of medicine. Her parents Leo and Violet Loo Yap and sister Hollis Bliatout preceded her in death. Survivors include her brother-in-law Bruce Bliatout, nephew Brien (Myra) Bliatout, niece Sparkle (Brent) Smith and great nephew Boston Smith. Graveside services will be held Thursday August 24, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Homelani Cemetery.
