LAWRENCE P HAMOCON JR. 76 Lawrence P Hamocon Jr. aka Sonny of Hawaii (via California), passed away May 16, 2018 in Los Alamitos, California at the age of 76. A memorial celebration will be held at St. Ann's Catholic church in Kaneohe on July 28th. Public viewing begins at 9:30am services to follow at 11am. He was a proud Castle High School Knight and a star athlete. He loved being in the ocean, enjoyed golfing, running the numbers, and cooking for his Ohana. He was proud of his LPH Legacy which was passed on to him from his father and now the LPH initials lives on through his 2 sons and their sons as well. Lawrence is preceded in death by his father, birth mother, and will now join his #1 sweetheart, his wife Barbara M Hamocon for eternity. Lawrence is survived by his mother Margaret Hamocon, eldest son Lance Hamocon; son Logan Hamocon; daughter Cheryl Vuong; seven grandchildren Lawrence, Brittany, Emily, Andi, Luke, Caden and Maddie; and his two great- grandchildren Anolani and Lanake.
