Judith H. Pomaikai, wife, mother, and grandmother, died on June 13, 2018, at Lovelace Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was 71. Born and raised in Kailua, Oahu, and a graduate of Kailua High School in 1964. Judith worked as a nurse's aide in Honolulu for a brief period. An arts and crafts enthusiast working with miniature houses. She also had a fondness for birds, especially, Peachface lovebirds. In 2008 they settled in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Judy's health had turned for the worst after a long illness. She passed away a few days later. She leaves behind her husband, Jerry, after forty-three years of marriage; her daughter, Mary; grandsons, Kristopher and Ryan; her sister, Terry Krueger; and brother's Jim and Peter Holst. A Memorial will be held in Hawaii where her ashes will be scattered joining her father like she requested.
