FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

Kenneth Yoichi Sugai
97, of Honolulu, a WWII Army veteran with the 442nd Regimental Combat Team and a retired fire fighter for the Federal Fire Department, passed away on June 25, 2018 at Oahu Care Facility. He also worked at Sam's Supply Company and retired from there after many years. He was born in Waialua. For his service in WWII, he was awarded the Purple Heart with Cluster, the Bronze Star and the French Legion of Honor. He is survived by sons, Mark and Terrence; daughter, Gwen (Craig) Fukuhara; brothers, Torao and Genkichi (Bernice); and by grandchildren, Nickolaus, Andrea, Natalie and Marissa. Visitation is at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, August 6, 2018, at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. The service begins at 6:00 p.m. Casual attire. No flowers. Arrangements Provided By: Hosoi Garden Mortuary
