Benjamin Calida Mabini86, of Waialua, passed away February 18, 2019. He was born in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte, Philippines on June 1st 1932. Ben was a graduate of the University of Manila, Philippines with a degree in law. After graduation Ben was a partner with the Law Offices of Raquiza and Asuncion. He was also a member of the Philippine Bar Association. He then went on to work at the Bureau of Customs as an examiner in Manila, Philippines prior to immigrating to Hawaii. He later retired from Waialua Sugar Company and Hawaiian Life Insurance Co. (currently Pacific Guardian Life Insurance). Ben is survived by wife Lolita. Three sons; Ben Jr. (Laura), Jeffrey, and Michael (Angela). Three granddaughters; Leilani, Alissa, and Amaiah. Sisters; Reynalda Molina, Alicia Felix, and Lina (Mar) Esta. Preceded in death, parents; Jose Arafiles Mabini and Joaquina Calida Mabini, brothers; Florendo (Marciana), Marjorie (Gloria), and Apolinario "Nario" (Aida). Visitation: 8:30 a.m.; Service: 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 15, 2019 at Mililani Mortuary, Waipio, Mauka Chapel. Burial to follow at 12:30 p.m.
