Joel G. Coito, 96 of Honolulu passed away on March 22, 2019 at home. Joel was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and was a graduate of St. Louis High School Class of '41, served in the Naval Reserves and Army, and retired from Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard as a design engineer. Joel is survived by his wife, Sylvia Ok Hee (Song) Coito; daughters Lois Daigle, Judith Coito; and Joleen Coito; granddaughter, Adrienne Daigle. He is preceded in death by his son Alan Coito. Services will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Sacred Hearts Academy with Mass at 2 p.m. followed by Visitation at 3 p.m. in the St. Margaret Mary Chapel. The family prefers lei in lieu of floral arrangements. Parking is available at Sacred Hearts Academy and St. Patrick's. Private burial ceremony will be held at the National Cemetery of the Pacific "Punchbowl". Arrangements Provided By: Diamond Head Mortuary
