FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

Sharon Watkins Conradt
Sharon Watkins Conradt SHARON WATKINS CONRADT Sharon passed away peacefully at her home in Honolulu on Tuesday, March 26, 2019, after a lengthy hospital stay. Sharon was born on July 3, 1936, in Ogden, UT to Alvin Eugene Watkins and Geneve Marie Malan. The youngest of five children, she grew up in Idaho. In 1954, she married Robert Greene, graduated from Twin Falls High School, and moved to Pasadena, California. Sharon enjoyed working as a bookkeeper and office manager for 20 years. She was also a woman of great faith. At the age of 38, with two teenagers in tow, she moved to Hawaii to manage a jewelry business. She always said that moving here was one of the best decisions she ever made. In 1981 she married Griffith Conradt. Theirs was a true love story, interrupted only by his 2001 passing. They will be buried together at Punchbowl and continue their honeymoon. Sharon was an active member of the Kahala Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and volunteered at the LDS Genealogy Center in Honolulu for 20 years. Her life was spent doing good works for others. Sharon was proud of her two children and loved her grandsons. We always looked forward to Sunday dinners at Grandma's house. She was very artistic, creating stained glass windows, painting, and sewing. She sang in the choir and loved to dance. She was fun, genuine, feisty, kind, spiritual and generous. She was the foundation of our family and we will miss her love and guidance, but we know that she will continue to watch over us. Sharon is survived by two children and four grandsons: Robin Ray Greene of Minnesota (Justin) and Kerrie Lane Woodall of Hawaii Kai (Cameron, Jordan, Jacob); siblings: Jerald Dee Watkins and Peggy Joyce Watson. Sharon will be buried at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific on Tuesday, April 9, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. All are invited. Following the short service, a gathering for friends and family will be held at Booth District Park from 1:45 until 3:30 pm. Please join us as we bid aloha to this remarkable woman who touched so many lives. For additional info: kerriewoodall@msn.com
