Kenneth Arturo Rogers, age 58, died on March 18, 2019 in Honolulu. Born on July 20, 1960 in Los Angeles, he was the son of the late Kenneth Rogers of Liverpool, England and the late Lesly Billam-Walker of Tegucigalpa, Honduras. He served proudly as a corpsman in the U.S. Navy and as a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service for 25 years. A member of the Black Powder Society at the Koko Head Shooting Complex, he was esteemed for his marksmanship and valor. He is survived by his brother, Erik Rogers; his sister, Ligaya Mishan, brother-in-law, Ahrin, and niece, Calla; his stepmother, Consuelo Rogers; and his cousins Leonardo, Julio Arturo, Carlos Fernando and Ana Isabelle Perez Zelaya, and David and Allen Mitchell. A memorial mass will be held on Thursday, April 11, at 10 A.M. at Sacred Heart Church, 1701 Wilder Avenue, followed by a private gathering to celebrate his life.
