89, of Honolulu, passed away on March 27, 2019. Retired waitress with the Royal Hawaiian Hotel, Hawaiian Regent Third Floor and Union local 5 shop steward. Survived by son, Richard Mercado; daughters, State Senator Donna Mercado Kim, Katherine Morris and Velvet Kim; brother, Alec Atienza; sister, Trini Kamekona; 6 grandchildren, 13 great-grand- children; 4 great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband Andrew Y.H. Kim. Visitation 10:15 a.m. Sat., April 20 at Borthwick Mauka chapel: service 11:15 a.m.; burial 2 p.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park. Aloha attire.
