~ Beloved Husband, Dad, Grandpa & Brother ~ 74, of Kaneohe, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2019 with his family by his side. Born in Honolulu on December 3, 1944, he was a 1962 graduate of Saint Louis HS, and retired after 30 years of service with the Navy Public Works Center at Pearl Harbor. A plumber by trade, he loved fishing and archery. He's survived by his wife, Ilona (Wright) Mendonca; son, Richard K. Mendonca; daughters, Dayna-Ann Mendonca and Kaysie Mendonca-Smith; grandson, Keawe Smith; & brother, Thomas Mendonca. A Celebration of Life will be held at The Key Project, 47-200 Waihee Road in Kahaluu on Friday, April 19, 2019. Visitation: 4:00 p.m.; Service: 5:00 p.m. No flowers. Casual attire.
