63, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2019 in Hercules, California. He was born on December 20, 1955 in Makaha and raised in Honolulu. He attended Waianae Elementary, Pauoa Elementary, Kawananakoa Intermediate and graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1973. Sam worked at various jobs in his early years. His path led him to Tradewind Tours where he made many lifelong friends. He moved to San Francisco in late 1980. Sam enjoyed bowling, golfing and traveling. He retired from Chevron USA in May, 2018. He was preceded in death by parents Sam Sr. and Violet and brother Ronald. He is survived by siblings Audrey (Steve) Ho, Leimomi (Michael) Clark, Donna (Morgan) Okada and Terence Kipu. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, Sean Ho, Jessica Jones, Jennifer, Jason (Liann) and Justin Kanda. A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 19, 2019, at the Oahu Veterans Center, 1298 Kukila Street, Foster Village. Casual attire. Private scattering of ashes.
