98 yrs, from Hanapepe, Kauai passed peacefully in Honolulu. Graduate of Iolani School 1940, played center on Father Bray's 1939 ILH football championship team. WW2 veteran of the Army Air Corps. He was a contractor for earth moving and grading. Landlord providing residential units. Oldest son of Daniel and Annie (Ching) Chang with brother David (Irene) and sister Mary Jane (Francis) Ferreira. Married to Ruth Lau of Kahaluu, Oahu. Survived by children Carol Ann, Arlene (John) Purbaugh, Brayson, Dennis (Mabel) with grandson Martin. Service May 4 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Chapel (45-425 Kamehameha Hwy). Visitation at 9:30am, service at 11:30am, burial at 1pm. Lunch to follow.
