Gloria Chock Dung
Gloria Chock DungGloria Chock Dung, passed peacefully at 90-years-old on March 25, 2019 surrounded by family. She was born in Honolulu on December 13, 1928 to Dr. K.C. Chock and Gertrude Chang Chock of Honolulu, and she was pre-deceased by her husband, Dr. David K.H. Dung of Honolulu. Gloria was raised in Alewa Heights, attended Punahou School and later Creighton University where she met David. Gloria enjoyed her many travels, golf games, and tennis matches throughout the years, however, her main pride and joy was her family. She was a caring mom who never missed a birthday or graduation and was always planning the next meal. She was affectionately known to as Ma Dung to all and her home was always open to her extended o'hana. She was a loving mother to her children: Daniel decd. (Cheryl), David John "DJ" (Lori), Frances Choy (Wesley), Bobby (Christine), Philip decd., Christopher "Ricky", Carole Holt (Charles decd.), Sharon Agustin (Roy) and Peter. Grand- children: Kristin and Kara Dung, Aaron, Brianna, and Devin Dung, Ashley and Alissa Choy, Timothy, Kathleen, and Kimberly Dung, Catherine, Christina, and Christopher Holt, Amanda and Andrew Agustin; Sister: Joan Chock. Services will be held at Sacred Heart Church, 1701 Wilder Ave., on Thursday, May 9, 2019. Rosary at 9:00 am. Mass at 9:30 am. Lunch to follow. Private burial at a later date.
