Godfrey Sun Wha Lee, aka Freddie, age 94, of Waimanalo, Hawaii, passed away on April 05, 2019, at Castle Memorial Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He is together again with his beloved wife, Myrtle, who predeceased him seven years ago. Freddie is survived by his sons Daryl (Darlene), Terrence (Dannette), and daughter Lisa (Michael) Rabe. He is blessed with 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Growing up in need of basics such as a home-cooked meal or a bed to sleep in, he made it his goal to abundantly provide for his family's needs and wants. Ensuring the cooking skills he mastered went their to greatest use, it was common for him to cook "for an army," as Myrt used to say, and deliver it to his family and friends. His career was varied from a boxer in the Army, a Magician's Assistant, serving in both the Honolulu Fire Department and Honolulu Police Department, to an appliance salesman before he finally started his own successful business called "Fashions of Hawaii", manufacturing and selling aloha attire in several locations in Waikiki. A private funeral service and Celebration of Life will be held for his family and friends.
