FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

Richard Richardson, Sr.
Richard Richardson, Sr. RICHARD RICHARDSON, SR. It is with great sorrow that the family of Richard Richardson Sr., of Kaneohe announces his passing on March 29, 2019, at the age of 80 years old. He was born in Hilo Hawaii. Richard was a man who always gave an abundance of love, joy and time to those who were fortunate enough to meet him. Although it saddens us to lose the physical presence of such an honorable man, we will forever carry his legacy with us in our minds and in our hearts. We hope when we remember Richard, we are not overcome by grief but instead rejoice in the many gifts he bestowed upon us while he was here. These "gifts" could be anything that holds personal significance to us whether it be a memory of him imparting his knowledge, displaying one of his true acts of kindness, taking genuine interest in our hobbies and interests or something funny or unexpected he's done to make us laugh out loud. Whatever the memory is that brings us the most happiness, we wish everyone comfort in knowing how lucky we were to have met such a beautiful soul who, without even realizing it, enriched our lives in positive, fulfilling ways. Richard attended McKinley High School. He worked for Honolulu Roofing.
