Bill worked for many years at Pearl Harbor and Kaneohe Marine Corps Airbase, providing security services. The military took Bill all over the world but he fell in love in Okinawa, Japan and would spend most of his career there with his wife and life partner Shizuko Purvis. They have a son Johnnie Purvis who also served in the military. Bill and family settled in Hawaii in the late eighties and called Hawaii home ever since. He was a humble, kind and generous man with many people who loved him. We will miss you always and you will forever be in our hearts. Most kind husband, father, grandfather, friend and gentle human being. Thank you for your kindness and love.
