A great planner and detailed oriented person, Cyndi raised her five children while spending over 40 years employed at Hawaiian Airlines, balancing many side jobs and taking on a multitude of responsibilities. Cyndi was a member of Kaimuki's class of 1957, marrying her high school sweetheart, Francis Genovia. Together, the two would share a long union of thirty-years, until Francis' untimely death.
Cyndi is survived by her children, Francis Keith (Marian), Kevin (Aloha), Kraig (Kathy), Klendon (Jennifer), Kanoe (John) and her Bishon Frise, Brie. She had 14 grandchildren, Brittany (Anson), Nathaniel, Azia (Cubby), Lia (Mika), Kody, Alanna, Jordan, Justin, Cole, Natalie, Nanea, Amaya, Ella, and Carly. Cyndi was also the proud great grandmother of Analea, Aleiyah, and Arson.
In commemorating Cyndi, we plan to hold a celebration of life with all those who loved her at a later date to be announced.
Our deepest condolences to the family and friends of the deceased
