Donald Tamotsu Sakai of Honolulu, passed away on September 29, 2020 at The Queen's Medical Center - West O'ahu. Born April 25, 1931, Donald is an alumnus of Kaimuki High School Class of 1949. He furthered his education receiving his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Hawaii and his Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan. Donald worked for the United States Army Audit Agency until his retirement in 1988.
Donald is survived by his wife, Jennie Sakai; children: Wayne (Pamela) Sakai, Dean Sakai, Karen (Thomas) Luiz, Darrell Sakai, and Glenn Sakai; 8 grand- children; 5 great-grandchildren, and sister, Gertrude Okubo.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private service will be held on October 20th.
