He is survived by companion and Caregiver Paul Sowa, Sister Michelle (Conrad) Molina and nieces Shara and Chelsi Molina and Calveena (Pua) Kamealoha Gomes. Lanakila was a house musician at Merrie Monarch for many decades. Military Honor Services will be held on April 9, 2021 @ 2 pm at Punchbowl Cemetery of the Pacific. Interment to follow.
