FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

JAMES GORO NAKAMURA
On Monday, December 28, 2020, James (Jimmy) Goro Nakamura, 74, transitioned from this life into eternity with family by his side. He was a retired owner of Car Clinic where many customers became life long friends. An avid traditional archer and a slack key enthusiast, he is remembered for his love of family and someone who encouraged each family member to become the best version of themselves. A man from humble beginnings, he walked softly and never forgot his roots. He was a role model for his life motto "If you have a talent or gift, you must share it!" As a unique and amazing "one-of-a-kind" person, we have many warm memories that will sustain us until we meet again. James was filled with gratitude for the caring support he received during his life journey and these individuals were etched in his heart and it remains in ours.

He is survived by his wife Donna and sons Boyd (Renee), Dyke (Sabrina Dunn) and Kyle (Dawn) along with his grandchildren Carly, Kaci, Cody and Nadia Nguyen. He is also survived by brothers Roy (Gail) and Bert; sisters Hazel Uehara, Nancy Nagatoshi and Laura (James) Iwaki and sister-in-law Elaine Nakamura and numerous nieces and nephews.
