FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

Stephen L. White
Stephen L. White Mr. White, son of Mr. Jack L. White and Mrs. Ellen W. White (Wimperis) was born on May 6, 1935 in Sacramento, California. He graduated from Chaffey High School and subsequently Chaffey College in Ontario, California. He later earned degrees in Engineering in California and an MBA at the University of Hawaii. Mr. White worked for Lockheed Aircraft on the F-94 fighter jets and joined the Military serving as a Naval aviator flying the piston-driven "WV-2", radar packet ship. He served in Guam and Westpac, retiring as a Lieutenant.

Throughout his life he maintained his flying skills and could often be found at the Dillingham Airport flying a variety of glider tow planes or the gliders. Mr. White was an avid skin diver, enjoying the ocean near his condominium in Haleiwa and in his spare time worked to restore vintage cars.

Mr. White worked for a variety of companies in Hawaii, including Dole Pineapple, Honolulu Iron Works, Alexander and Baldwin and Rigging International. During his later years, Mr. White was a Real Estate agent and professional tax preparer.

Mr. White passed away Saturday, March 20, 2021 at the Hawaii Kai Assisted Living Facility. Mr. White is survived by his sister, Mrs. Jackie Allen of Washington State and his nieces, Ms. Stephanie Taylor of Washington State and Ms. Richelle Allen King of New York State and his many friends in Hawaii and throughout the world.
