Miles Jackson, a professional musician who played upright and electric bass for years in Honolulu jazz clubs, died Feb. 15 at his hospice care home in Las Vegas after a six-year battle with early-onset Alzheimer's disease. He was 65.He is predeceased by his mother Bernice O. Jackson. He is survived by companion of 35 years, Arline D. McMurtray; son, Quincy C. Jackson; father, Miles M. Jackson Jr.; sisters Marsha Bonita Jackson Bethards, Muriel T. Jackson & Melia Jackson Dunn.
Inurnment will take place on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 12 noon at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park (Ko'olau Nature View Garden C12 #32). Aloha attire. Flowers welcomed.
